When and how should I check if any of the new GPUs are in stock?

You look at the store pages on Amazon, Newegg, etc. when possible.

 

For 30 series I highly recommend signing up for the EVGA waiting list. That way you are notified. Newegg also has an auto notify, but it's not a queue system so the faster responders will get to buy first

Okay the EVGA waiting list is the best thing I heard about for being able to getting one of these new graphics cards.
