Greetings,

I just purchased a new motherboard (MSI X570 Gaming Edge Wi-Fi) and installed all my old components in. When it booted it recognized the 16GB ram I had installed but reserved half of it for "Hardware Reserve Memory." I understand this is a common problem but the solution is almost always editing MSConfig so maximum memory is unchecked. It is for my settings and my motherboard still won't clear the ram for use. The RAM sticks worked fine in old motherboard but are on QVL for the MB and CPU. I ran through every solution on the internet but most refer to the MSConfig tweak. I am confident the modules are in working order and I would assume the MB is fine since the sticks are both recognized. Any advice appreciated.
