Hi,

Please suggest a good laptop under 60-80k INR. Mostly for programming and moderate gaming.

I recommend you get a decent desktop and decent laptop. Gaming laptops are terrible in every way; they throttle so much you can barely use them to game for longer than 10 minutes (in games that will actually utilize the hardware, anyway), and they suck as laptops (bad battery life, generally fairly large and heavy, etc).

This is for my friend actually and he is a traveler so buying a desktop won't be a good idea. That's why. He's not a heavy gamer or anything he just wants that it should be able to run games at 60 fps that's it.

Still gonna throttle, lol. Look in the laptops subforum here and at all the people who are amazed that their brand new gaming laptop is hitting 90, 95, 100c while under medium load.

Is a SFF desktop an option?

SFF is not an option he wants a laptop. A decent laptop is what he's hoping for.

If he wants a decent laptop he should get a machine that is actually built well and won't run at 100c. He should consider a Thinkpad of some sort.
