Budget (including currency): Around $1000, with likely a hard limit around $1600?

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: General purpose tasks like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, but mainly Web Browsing, Lots of Youtube videos, possible live-streaming in the future if I get in to that, and of course, GAMING! Games I like to play right now: Cities Skylines, HOI4, Ravenfield (early access game), Democracy 4, X-Plane -> Planning on getting Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Current build plan micro center list:

Ryzen 5 5600X Vermeer 3.7GHz 6-Core AM4 Boxed Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

Planning on using this Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Elite WiFi X570 AMD AM4 ATX Motherboard (209.99 but $20 off at 189.99)

or ASUS X570 TUF Gaming Plus (WIFI) AMD AM4 ATX Motherboard (189.99)

RAM: Recommendations would be appreciated! I found this: Ripjaws V 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 PC4-25600 CL16 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit F4-3200C16D-16GVKB - Black

Case: Also open to recommendations: Lian Li - Lancool II Tempered Glass eATX Full Tower Computer Case - Black

PSU: I used a calculator online and recommended 650W? Should I future proof with a 750W or more?: EVGA - 650BQ 650 Watt 80 Plus Bronze ATX Semi-Modular Power Supply

Graphics Card: Really important to me! Largest amount of budget is pretty much dedicated to this so help would be GREATLY appreciated :)

I am debating between a RTX 3070 or the (launching tomorrow at time of saying this) Radeon RX 6800 or 6800XT? Leaning towards Nvidia RTX 3070 because I know Nvidia as a company is pretty reliable but open to AMD too, especially at 16gb of graphics ram! (Also assuming I can even buy these cards any time soon lol)

Storage:

My previous computer's hard drive is failing and the computer itself graphics card is really sad, so felt it is definitely time to switch to an SSD/NVME drive! I have heard the are leaps and bounds better than the ye old mechanical hard drive so really looking forward to that! Looking for a 1TB option I think? Recommendations of best, long lasting SSD/NVME would be appreciated!

Likely will also be buying a new Computer Monitor (just 1 for now) not sure yet if I need 4K vs 1440p vs 1080p, I think the current one is an old 1080p or 720p?

I am ready to buy any time, really looking for deals on Black Friday/Cyber Monday but haven't heard much because this is my first computer parts Black Friday hunting :)

Hoping to complete this as a Christmas build!

Let me know if I missed anything I should add to help y'all and thanks in advance!!!
