Windows Defender Keeps Turning Back On Automatically

Hello,

 

When I disable windows defender it automatically turns itself on after my system has been shut down. I was wondering if there's a way to stop it turning itself on so that it stays off permanently. I use a lot of mods and my anti-virus keeps deleting them upon rebooting. I know I could exclude them but I have many different mods in many different folders so disabling my AV is easiest for me. Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks

I use a lot of mods too, some trainers and stuff will trigger defender but it'll always ask me what to do first, in which case I use a real anti malware software to check and if that says it's ok(ish) aka a pup () potentially unwanted program I tell both programs to ignore said program. 

 

 

Try setting defender to default settings  

Actually I remember it being slightly difficult, so if no one else chimes in with the proper settings im gonna post some shakey camera pics with my settings... 

 

Still really confused how defender just nilly willy would delete anything (examples?) didn't happen to me once. 

 

 

Edit: seriously though? What kind of mods, I have over around at least 200-300 GB of mods (I'm addicted :D) and if I do a full scan it finds like maybe 2 or 3 trainers... (and "cheat engine" lol)

I believe that's about it. May need to also turn off "tamper protection" also (not sure about that one) 

 

No "ransomware protection" for hax0rs like us I'm afraid!
