Shopping for new workstation laptop

I'm shopping for a new 17 inch workstation laptop that will last me a good 5-10 years.  Any recommendations or input would be helpful. I have a budget of 3k and travel alot due to work. I heard the lenovo p17 is ok, what do guys think?

iirc the P17 is really good. I'd get that.

The P17 is a great laptop.

 

I've a huge fan of the P-Series. My current laptop is a P50 and it's one of the best computers I've ever owned.
