I have once made a post about this before,

this issue has come up again and would like to start a discussion of any possible ways of fixing this issue, my gigabyte motherboard has always posted had no issues in that aspect, just that the other day i had some issues with app center which i do not like to use in the first place. It wanted my to updated some Realtek drivers as it told me to update them from updating them over and over as it would not leave me alone telling the driver needs to be installed even though i have already done it, along with me not finding it helpful, now i decide to update from gigabytes website if even i need to do so.

So im wondering if anybody has any issues on how to fix this changing the debug LED back to AO from E3 this happened after having issues with APP center.

As said im having no issues with booting more for my OCD of not knowing why this is happening.

My motherboard had this issue before and the fix was to uninstall valorant because their anti cheat was causing the issue now me thinking to believe its another software issue in my OS.

Any suggestions would be great, thanks

E3 = OS S3 wake vector call

Some application is stopping it from entering S3 sleep or waking up from it.

This happened after having issues with app center do you think as you said best to leave it, if it is not broken after all isnt the debug code only for if the pc does not boot

Yes I saw your other thread.

It can sometimes be hardware as well.

Have you updated the bios on the board ever?

No i have never seen the need to update my bios as if there is not a major issue no point updating it, i can live with the debug code being different if it does not effect my pc, would be great to fix tho

Some bios updated will sometimes fix little issues like these.

But it could be anything causing the issue. Video card, SSD, software....

Starting somewhere, maybe disable some apps to startup with windows.

Yeah, still leaning on the bios update from any quick searches I've just done.

If you do, must follow instructions at the Giga site. It's best to do one revision at a time.

Im not comfortable with doing a bios update with everything that could go wrong, i have had this pc for over 2 years i know im running bios version F5 that came with my motherboard so maybe il give a look into it

What im saying is, is this a big enough issue where a bios needs to be updated even gigabyte say dont update unless there is problems at the given time

Couldn't hurt to try. You have Q flash, so you can install the F5 back on if you need to.

No this is a generic code actually. It's just telling you it's blocked from either sleeping or waking up.

You could try disabling C-states in bios maybe that could help without a bios flash.

Okay i have figured something out i have just installed app center back on my pc and from restarting the debug code has changed back to AO but when i load on the desktop, app center wants to update when doing this it changes to 25 then if i unistall the program it changes back to E3 which is the issue i had before should i just leave the program on my pc and not update it, tbh i dont really see the need for the program i could even stop it from running at start up

Just turned off auto updates on windows start up but it still bothers me with updating the software, so either i can just ignore it or uninstall it and go back to the debug code E3 at least i know now why its doing it, i guess doing a bios update would have made no difference in fixing this issue with it being a software issue
