Question about RGB headers

I was reading up on the 4 pin and 3 pin RGB and ARGB headers that seem to be standard, and I was wondering is there an official specification or standard for these headers? I was thinking about making some custom rgb hardware and couldn't find concrete info on pinout, etc.

The 4-pin ones work based on voltage, so increasing the R and decreasing the G and B voltage to produce red light, etc.

The 3-pin ones work based on a data signal.

For making custom RGB stuff, the 4-pin is probably your best bet.

Alright but that isn't very useful. I know 4 pin is my best bet but I'll still need info on what the pins and voltages actually are. There must be some standard since all the rgb hardware and motherboard headers are compatible

4pin rgb 12v (12v varys depending on brightness) just like an rgb led.

5pin rgb just adds an wight color

and there 3pin (2+1) 5v
