Budget (2500usd): some parts already bought

Country:

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly gaming and streaming i want to be able to run a couple programs also because i am doing electrical engineering at school and some video editing

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Right now i have a case already, an evga power supply bronze 700w, 2x 8gb ram at 3200 (i think) and i also have a b550  aorus pro ac . So right now i just need alot of help choosing a cpu(ryzen) and as for the gpu i can decide if to get a 3070 or 6000 series gpu. Memory i have already picked out some just haven't ordered it yet

Would you mind putting your current components (and components you chose) onto a PCP list?

geometry is hard
b550 > x570

That will not even be able to handle a 3070. It's a very bad psu replace it with a b tier or better unit of at least 750w from the psu tier list:

Well just replace it. That psu is a pc killer no matter what the components really. Even a mid range system would trip that psu after a bit

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/6Y66Mp/corsair-rm-2019-750-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-cp-9020195-na

same money but placed higher

The list is basically look at psu in a store -> look at where it is in the psu tier list

Then according to where it's at it's good or bad.

Oh okay so this Corsair one you recommended would be okay for me to get? And would it be able to run a 3070 or 6800 gpu?

Alrighty, well here's what i updated in the build https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Tom_Snow_4/saved/spXBcf

You should for sure replace the case tho as it's basically a big pile of suck and will cause thermal issues. I didn't notice it was that diypc one. A sorta fix is better fans but even with some really good and cheap arctic p12 fans it would still suck and well 3 fans is basically half the price of the case :p.

Sigh maybe I'll have to replace it later lol because i was on a fixed budget so I'm gonna just get the remaining parts along with changing the power supply i hope someone buys it from me haha. But i was looking into a cooler i saw a Corsair one i might buy but I wasn't really focusing much on temps because my room has ac so i figured it wouldn't get as hot, but having said that what case should i replace it with so for future i can swap it

What cooler. Ac does not mean you should skip on cooling.

Your full system would only cost 1200 so you have plenty of budget for a better case

May wanna get some arctic p12 fans tho. That sickleflow fan was already bought or not?

As I said you need a better psu to run any of the higher end cards as that thing will just straight up give out otherwise go for the build I suggested. I included all the parts that you have that you can use. Just forgot to turn off the price for them my bad.
