USB 2.0 and 3.0 failure

Hello,
I've been trying to get a PC to work, but the USB keeps on failing. It doesn't matter wether it's a given port or a given device that I'm pluging in. The wife reciver, pendrives, printers, mouse, headset and other devices will not work regardless of which USB port I'm using. To be more accurate it doesn't always work, it fails after a while or straight after booting the PC. Its runing on a Asus 110M-A  motherboard and its got a Win7 system. I've tried to reinstall the USB drivers, but that didn't help at all. When I look at the mouse after its failure its clear that it has no current runing through it. It's not just "froozen".  If anyone could help I would really apriciate it! :)
