Mic stopped working... please help

Hi guys,

My microphone on my astro a50s just stopped working after i rebooted my computer last night.

I have tried another mic through and that doesnt work either.

When in the focusrite software you can see there is an input to the pc there, but it doesnt seem to be going through my system.

I have tried trouble shooting through google and no resolve.

If anyone can help me here or direct me to a thread with a similar issue!

Thanks

Try to uninstall your audio driver reboot and install the newer version (download it from the manufacturer website).

I guess you've tried your mic on another computer and it works fine?

I will try your suggestion, it works fine in my laptop. my only concern is that when i try use my xlr mic it doesn't detect that too?!

You have an external sound card for your XLR mic? If so, can you see the external soundcard in device manager?
