Hi guys i am going to build a computer for my friend and i have too many idea on what i should use as the parts his budget is around $800.

my only requirement is to use the fx 8350 because he wants to play and stream at the same time and the 3570k lack in the combination of both.
Im in Canada so canadian prices/stores would be much appreciated! going for a maxmimum gaming performance at 1080p. no peripherals or monitor are needed for these plans just the computer itself

thanks in advanced

Well obviously the 8350 will be a great cpu first if he plans on overclocking it super high then you will want to find a 990fx board if not I would say getting the msi 970a g46 for a really good budget board.

for ram I would suggest a 8gb kit of corsair vengeance low profile

graphics card I would say go with a 7870 or 7950 which ever you can afford and always go with MSI

Power supply I would say go with a cx600, you may experience some coil whine but it is very very quiet and this psu will never fail on you.

And since you are going to be needing the best fps in game on a budget I wouldn't worry about a SSD at the current time I would just get a WD black or seagate baracuda of what ever size you would like.

and case is always preference but I would suggest a NZXT source 210 as it is super cheap at actually a pretty decent case that looks good.

Edit* If you have extra left over I would upgrade to http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130677

that board will allow you to overclock alot higher with the 8350.

ok awesome i came up with this

any good?

@physX i already said 3570k does NOT meet the requirements for this build.... thanks for the rest though

Well I personally would first change the motherboard, that specific one is nice quality and will overclock great but the pci lanes on it make zero sense lol you won't have any slots for wireless cards or sound cards or anything. second find ram that doens't have a heatsync that looks like it is going to transform into something because that ram will get in the way of your 212 evo and then you are fucked.

Edit* the MSI 990fxa gd65v2 has the best design as it will allow for SLI/xfire without getting in the way of all the pci e 1x lanes and it still has only one pci legacy lane.

The corsair vengeance low profile is seriously the perfect ram to get

That's a nice build...

Costs 1/5 of what mine did (Though four years ago) and should perform (better?) as well.

didnt really think about that kind of stuff

any recommendations on the air cooler?

cant i put the gfx card in the 2nd pcie 16 slot?? that would leave good space for a possible wireless card

he doesnt really care about sound card he has a low end razer headset so he doesnt really care atm

can't you just shove pcie cards in any slot anyways (so long as its big enough)?

at least i remember hearing that somewhere.

Yes you can but I've heard some horror stories of people not being able to and not being able to return mobo and being fucked so I always like to be safe than sorry haha

Edit* In retrospec I should have said that lol

No you can't OC that well on a 970, on a decent 970 like the msi one I originally told you you can OC a little bit but you will not want to up your voltages at all because the VRM is lacking alot.

Umm, with the gigabyte board above you have a 1x  and two 4x slots available with two dual slot graphics cards installed. The MSI is a little better in that it has two 1x slots at the top. But it is also brown and doesn't have a front USB3 connector.

Also VRM has nothing to go with the chipset. The gigabyte 970A-UD3 has a 8+2 power phase design like the big boys whereas the MSI 970-GD46 is only a 4+1.

It performs well as far as speeds go.

But it freezes a lot because it's drivers are old, and I can't install new drivers without wiping it, then reinstalling Windows on another HDD, install the drivers on the SSD, and then reinstall Windows on the SSD. That would take me a lot of time and I'm busy.

It freezes maybe 4 - 9 times a week but it used to be worse.
