Cooling for new build

Go to solution Solved by narrdarr,

In term of cooling you should not get that case. It lacks sufficient airflow for a build like yours.

You should be looking at

P300a

P400a

P500a

Lancool 2 mesh performance

Td500

Meshify c

Or similar

As for a coolers

Air:

Dark rock 4 pro

Nh d15

Nh d14

SilverArrow SB-E Extreme

Assassin 3

Liquid:

Artic liquid freezer II 360

Ek aio 360

Alpha cool 420 aio

For the gpu.

we will need more info on how well the aib coolers are and how well they scale compared to liquid cooling after reviews start coming out.

Hi all,

i am planning to build my first pc in the coming months, as an idea...

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5900X
GPU - ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6800XT
Mobo - ASUS ROG Crossair VIII Hero
RAM - 32GB Gskill Trident 4000Mhz CL15
Storage - ?
CPU Cooler - Arctivc Liquid II 360
Case - NZXTY H710

in terms of cooling will it makes sense to have an AIO and a liquid cooled gpu? this will take away most of my fan slots and i assume not optimize ariflow.. what do you guys suggest? thanks

assuming i'd go for the p500a and i wont liquid cool the gpu, how does the airflow look like here?

fine. I have the same case and i can tell that the airflow is great. the stock front fans are loud but they have high airflow.

I too have the fortn fans fore intake, the back for exhaust and my 360mm aio on the top for exhaust. works greta

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.
