Budget (700$):

Country: U.S

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: some gaming would like to run newish games on decent settings. I also do a lot in adobe photoshop and would like to maybe to do some small video editing.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I am trying to build a rig for around 700$ and cant seem to find any builds that have decent specs for the price. I know that covid has driven prices up a lot and was wondering if anyone had any ideas for parts lists.

I might think about a similarly priced gtx 1650s or 1660s, if you do adobe.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

PSU prices suck but aside from that:

you can still build a decent PSU. I recommend some cheap used options where possible, since 5000 series Ryzen came out I bet some 3100 and 3300X CPUs are on eBay.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?
