Minecraft modpack crash

so ive been playing the modpack 'RLCRAFT' for about a year and a half now

added a few mods myself

didnt really play that since march i think and i just came back

after playing a for 5 days now the game just freezes on launch

its stuck on the loading screen and does not continue 

i have 26GB of ram dedicated to minecraft so its not a ram problem

ive fixed this problem before but i just cant remember how

anyone has any ideas?

What's the likelihood you're playing on a newer version of MC than your mod pack is set up for?

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

modpack is for 1.12.2 only

im playing version 2.7

newest is 2.8.2

i just dont want to update 50 mods so im staying on 2.7

when you download the modpack it also downloads forge 1.12.2 so its not a version problem
