Hey,

the build I'm working on rn doesn't start properly. No OS is installed and I don't get any video output. Everything should be connected properly:

The build is:

Motherboard:                 TRX40 AORUS PRO WIFI

CPU:                                  AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X

GPU:                                   Gigabyte AMD Radeon 5600 XT

RAM:                                  1x 32GB Samsung M378A4G43MB1-CTD DDR4-2666 DIMM CL19 Single

PSU:                                   AORUS AP 850 GM

Liquid Cooling for CPU:  Corsair iCUE H100i PRO XT

SSD:                                  Seagate FireCuda 510 SSD with 2TB

For some additional info:

-The Watercooling for the CPU is running

- The CPU_LED is shining red on start-up and no other leds light up. There are no further information, on what exactly the booting stops

- We only get fan-spin and nothing else

- We originally had reg. ECC RAM installed, but later found that to be incompatible. We have now switched to 1 standard DDR4 DIMM and installed it on the right slot according to manual

- We tried the Q-Flash Plus procedure, but couldnt find any information as to how to rename the BIOS file.  Pressing the Q-Flash Plus Button (short and long) did nothing

- We tried two different GPUs

-We followed the steps according to this thread,

Hope to get advice soon and thank you in advance.

CPU_LED on means that there's a problem with.... (drumroll)... THE CPU.

I'd suggest checking to make sure that there's no debris in the socket and that all the socket pins are un-bent.

Also make sure you have good mounting pressure. You need to tighten the socket until the included screwdriver--thing clicks and doesn't let you tighten anymore.

We checked and everything is in order. No pins are bend and no debris is in between.
We reseted and updated the BIOS via QFlash to the latest version.
After doing both nothing new happened.

Install the little beep code speaker.

If the board is operational but the cpu is bad, you will have beeps.

If the board does nothing, no beeps, warranty the board.

If the board is operational and receive beeps, warranty the cpu.

FP header speaker location.

little speaker needed.

Post and beep codes in my sig.
