Will 3070 fit?

Go to solution Solved by Fasauceome,

The ventus really isn't that big. It's quite a lot smaller than your strix 980 TI, which I assume is currently in your 200R.

Hi so I ordered MSI GeForce RTX 3070 8GB Ventus 2X OC and I wondered if it will fit in my corsair carbide 200r? Rest of pc specs in description

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

That sounds great. And yes I am currently borrowing my brother's 1070 ti because I was streaming but thanks. Would not expect that to be a smaller card but that's awesome.

Will I need to reduce the power limit in msi afterburner because I only have a Corsair CX 600M? It's probably one of the few things I have not changed since I build the pc 6 years ago. Some things were upgraded though.

600 watts is an adequate amount, but that green label 600M is a pretty low quality unit by today's standards. If the 3070 doesn't run with it, lowering the power limit might not help.

What does about the green label is bad? I don't know much about psus.

I'll try to keep it in mind. Expected delivery is 30 november but who knows if they will delay or not.

it has an older design that leads to poor voltage delivery.
