CPU upgrade HELP!!

Hello Guys, i am new here.

 

I got an i3 2120, 8GB DDR3 Ram, and NVidia GTX 1050 ti 4 GB.

I would like to upgrade my CPU, But I'm not sure which one from the i7 category would work on my motherboard. Not sure if i can get at least an i7 2600 - 2600k

 I would really appreciate your help, if somebody is sure and know if this processor is working on my computed I'm buying it right now.

If it supports a 2nd gen i3, it supports a second gen i7. What model of PC are you using? Is it a Dell optiplex 770 or something?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

With a bios upgrade, it might support Ivy bridge like the i7 3770.

since it has an H61 chipset, the best CPU you could get is an i7 2600 or 2600K (the 2700K is not technically supported even though it's a second gen chip)
