Sell it and get 2x16gb if you want 3200mhz.

if you add 3200mhz to a 2400mhz set it will run at 2400mhz.

the ram i currently have are 2400mhz

im upgrading to a set with 3200mhz

that might be a slight issue. the 2400mhz will only go up to that so don't waste your money on faster ram if you can't use its speed. its like buying a 3090 for a toddler. the toddler isn't going to need it

mate im buying 2 sets of the 3200mhz im completely replacing the 2400s

Then what's the fuzz?

If you're replacing, you don't need to worry about it.

I suggest getting 2 stick rather than 4 sticks if you want 3200mhz.

Just looked on Asus' QVL list for your motherboard. Looks like good to go. You'll have to use XMP to use 3200mhz, but Asus themselves say it's fine.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

its quite hard to buy a 2x16 they are never instock

buy it from another brand.

Be aware that 3200mhz is not natively supported on that CPU, you'll have to OC it.

Because there's only 2 sticks of RAM in that kit. If you're doubling, you're looking at 4. Which would be the ones listed as 8x4.
