Hotspot Shield Internet Speed

So umm I'm using the free trial version of HSS and whenever I have it turned on, I experience massive internet speed issues.

 

Typically, I'll be able to get about 90/5 download and upload http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3334695532

 

but on HSS, I've only been able to get about 6/0.2 http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3364466765

I'm guessing you're not on the bandwagon of "Get a VPN, make speeds faster" that everyone else in America on this forum has been on then...

I'm not sure what you're referring to.

 

I'm pro VPN, and pay for one, I'm just saying to expect slower speeds than your regular internet connection when using one.

Everyone in this forum is fangirling over this video and buying VPNs left right and centre to speed things up
