I'd guess GPU drivers but you haven't given us any information.

 

What are the specs of his PC? What kind of crash (BSOD, hard reboot, etc)? What are temps? Drivers installed and up to date? What OS?

No It just turns off his monitor and Nothing else happends and he has to restart. He doesn't know what he did wrong

Computer specs?

 

Some of my guesses. Can't really tell the exact problem without knowing the specs/anything.

  • Computer's PSU didn't have enough power to run it because the GPU/CPU eats all of the power. Therefore, sudden restart.
  • Might be some hardware problem that I can't tell what because we don't have enough information.

He has i3 8100 and GT 1030 12gb ram

Spec's good enough tbh. I'd suggest to update the driver on the GPU, or just reinstall the driver. Might be solving the problem.

 

Note. If you wanna download the new driver, I'd suggest to follow this video and use this page to download the driver instead. Choose the STANDARD on "Windows Driver Type". NVIDIA driver nowadays are using DCH which, sucks af that you can't install the NVIDIA control panel on Windows Store if you're unlucky.
