Usually it's fine to leave it on, but personally I take these off and put them into the box the SSD came in.

Hello Everyone! I got a 500GB Samsung 970 SSD that I believe has a sticker heatsink on it. But I also have a Motherboard (the MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Carbon WIFI), should I remove the SSD heatsink sticker when I put the SSD under the included SSD heatsink on the motherboard, called Heatsheild?
