Sometimes after a reboot (and sometimes when waking from sleep) my mouse won't work, even though it's receiving power because the rgb lights will run.  It's a Thermaltake Iris Optical RGB HATSUNE MIKU Edition, it's connected to the on-board USB of my ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus motherboard w/ 3600 installed, and I'm running Windows 10 insider preview.  I bought the mouse more for fun than anything else (I don't play comp, so the sensor is more than adequate), so if it's determined to be a Thermaltake issue, well, c'est la vie.  The problem is I'm having a hard time figuring out what the problem is, especially in terms of what steps to take to figure it out; Is anyone familiar with what steps to try?  Could it be an issue with too many USB devices (I have mouse, keyboard, dac, webcam, and mousepad plugged in; previously also had my xbox wireless adapter plugged in, until the solder pads ripped off the pcb for its connector; I have a Wifi 6 pcie card installed, and I believe its bluetooth connector utitlizes one of my usb headers)?  Could it be just that plug?  Could it be purely software related?  Could a BIOS update on the motherboard help (are BIOS updates generally something you should do as they come out, or only if you have a problem?)?  The main reason I've had difficulty narrowing it down is that it's not consistent; it will only sometimes not work on reboot or waking from sleep.

A separate issue I'm having is that using the mouse in the BIOS screen is awful.  It's incredibly slow and laggy, so I just use the keyboard to navigate.  I'm under the assumption this isn't correct either, and could be an issue with the mouse (probably what dpi level it uses? the dpi switch does nothing in BIOS).

I have an mx518 and a small wireless microsoft mouse I could try, in terms of troubleshooting.  If anyone is aware of some sort of asus or AMD issue, or windows issue, that could be causing this, or just could help me figure out the best steps of figuring this out, I would greatly appreciate any and all help.

This is normal.  You can blame uncle billy it happens to numerous brands do this.  It is up in the air there is nothing wrong with your device or driver or softwaree it is how Windows 10 manages or handles USB upon waking up etc.  You must replug to get connection back. This could also happen to your keyboard or another USB device.  Your nto special here just do not put your machine on sleep.  Either leave her on breathing or turn it off.🙈🤷‍♀️👶
