super underperfoming. (SOLVED)

ZylosHQ

Thanks for the help guys, it somehow ended up solving itself when I booted my pc this morning. Have a great day. :)

Hey, I just bought myself a brand new system and I've noticed major performance issues, the computer is less than 24 hours old and I have only installed the basics (steam, battle net, discord and games)
I ran a UserBenchmark test and it's showing that my computer is performing in the 12th percentile, my question is, should I try to resolve this on my own (and if so, how?) or should I refund the computer (which according to Swedish law, I have 60 days to do so and the company must issue me a full refund -/+ shipping costs)

https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/34622068

CineBench Score:

https://gyazo.com/f1676cdb15af518212704d8e3132bd4b

Parts:

Intel Core i7-10700K
RTX 2070 Super
960 NVME
32gb Kingston HyperX 3200mhz DDR4.
ASUS ROG Strix B460-F GAMING

In my opinion, I should get more than a 190 fps average in games likes CS:GO and Valorant, as I was able to do so with my old rig (i7-6700, GTX 970, 16gig ddr4)

Yes, the RAM is running in dual channel.

Purchased from Komplett.se (Swedish company, bought there before with no issues and never had an issue with returning a product either, even tho the bad reviews.)

Quick responses appreciated.

UserBenchmark is awful and not a reliable source of information.

That said... Your Cinebench score is lower than it should be. If you're at stock settings you should be around at least 4900 or so. What are your temperatures while running Cinebench?

Granted, it's not a good source of information, but my FPS in games like CS:GO is very low.

Is that after a spike to 100c or is 90c the highest it goes?

If 90c is the highest it goes then your issue points to a configuration error in BIOS. Try unplugging the power cord and pulling the CMOS battery for 10 minutes. Boot back up and don't change anything, keep it stock and run the benchmark again.

Also just to make sure... have you undervolted at all?

I have not done any overclocking as that would void my warranty per the contract i signed.

If you don't tell anyone you overclocked your CPU there's no way for them to know ;)

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

It’s still worth trying the CMOS reset since overclocking isn’t the only thing that could cause this.

well know this, csgo is heavily cpu bound and single core performance matters more than core count

well if you told us earlier you had this cpu...

so to be clear. Is your system actually getting low fps in csgo or is userbenchmark telling you that it will be low?

All the parts are listed in the benchmark, my bad for not being more clear,, and yes, i am getting anywhere from 90-200 fps and the game stutters.
