yesterday my friend gave me battlefield V to copy on my machine because downloading the game (89.9 GB) takes too long on my connection (max download is 700Kb/s)
i start the download then pause it
i copy the file that my friend gave me wait for the copy to finish
resume
let the origin launcher resume the download it reads till 99% complete the rerolls back to 20 % and starts downloading all over again
and i tried to locate game file but that results in origin being stuck in a crashing loop
pls i need all the help i can get
thank you in advance

It may be because your friend has no up-to-date version of BF5. Last months it was changed from standard to some more recent version, so it's possible that it check files and starting of updating process.
