I'm running a Phanteks P500A case with an Asus Rog Thor Power supply. The power supply has a top facing exhaust and I don't want to install it upside down for Aesthetic purposes but the PSU shroud on the P500A is not removable nor has any opening for air flow above the PSU as it's designed for PSU's that have the exhaust on the bottom. My question is: Will this cause thermal problems with the PSU if mounted upright?

Yes, and I haven't put the system together just yet so I'm not entirely sure how much of a gap there is between the top of the PSU and the shroud.

Oh wait, did you mean, do I have the 3 pin RGB headers or the 4 pin ones? I'm running the ASUS Rog Crosshair VIII, it has the Addressable RGB headers which are the 3 pin ones.
