Starting on Sunday, 10/18/20, my computer started randomly shutting down when I played games. I thought it was a driver issue, so I updated all drivers. Nothing changed. Tried a clean install of Windows. Still randomly shutting down. Got more RAM. No dice. By Tuesday it was shutting down even if I was not playing games. I tried a new power supply and the issue persists. I tried new SSD and took out my NVME to see if it was a hard drive problem, nope! Reinstalled Windows again, nothing. At this point the computer barely stays on for two minutes whenever it cycles; I can only manage to look at the event log.

I think it might be the motherboard or cpu - how do I test this?

my specs are:

32 gb ram

ryzen 3600

2070 super

X570 motherboard

2 500gb nvme

1 tb ssd
