FFS setup

I want to know what the setup is, behind a school full flight simulator ? What kind of system is running all the projectors... ?

back in the days this used to be purpose build hardware. GPU cards that you cannot buy anywhere else and such.

i doubt this is still the case tough, since a high end gaming pc is probably fast enough these days to run the software required.

i do wonder how they translate the on screen movement to movement in the simulator tough.

You're last sentence is what i can't figure out. Maybe it's an idea for Linus ? Behind the sences of a full pro flight sim..
