Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: i like to play multiplayer games like squad dayz rust csgo anything like that at 1080p 

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 

CPU : RYZEN 5 3600

MB : TOMAHAWK B550

RAM : 16GB CORSAIR

SSD : 1TB

GPU: NOT DECIDED I HAD 1660 TI IN MY LAST BUILD I SOLD

PSU : 650 W 80+ GOLD

I'm somewhat flexible but I like to not overspend if I don't need to just looking for suggestion on what gpu I should buy because realistically ill probaly not be able to grab a 3070

If you plan on sticking with 1080, a 5700 XT will do fine.

 

Sure you can wait for the new cards in the new year but if you want one now that will do fine
