Hi, i found these 2 motherboards and i dont understand hem that well. I've chosen 2

Black asus rog strix b450-f - £100

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-B450-F-GAMING-Socket-Motherboard/dp/B07F714FT7/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=asus+rog+strix+motherboard&qid=1603223255&sr=8-3

White asus rog strix b550-a - £170

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-ROG-Strix-Gaming-Motherboard/dp/B08F9VP2RC/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=asus+rog+strix+b550-a&qid=1603223388&s=computers&sr=1-1

The main question is, is the b550-a motherboard worse than the b450-f. As i chose this one for a white build, so it will be a full one with all white parts for the £70 more.

but i wanted to know the advantages and disadvantages or which one is better

Thank You

B450 will support all generations of processors (but may not support new released Cpus depending if Asus decides to have a Beta bios, but word on the street says they plan not to....)

And the B550 will support Zen 2 and up.

So the B550 would be a better choice if intending to use current and soon to be next gen cpus.

i would probably use 2700x, 3600 or 3300x.

Not looking to upgrade
