Front panel fan controller recommendation

A friend of mine is looking for a recommendation for a 5.25" front panel fan controller. He prefers one with a screen, but I can't make any recommendations because i'm not that into flashy front panels and i've never owned one.

He's looking at either the NZXT sentry 2, NZXT sentry lx, bitfenix Recon, or one of the Aerocool controllers. Can anyone recommend which is best? he likes the recon and sentry lx look but cannot decide which is better functionality wise

I'd recommend the Bitfenix Recon. I myslef have got a Bitfenix Hyrda fan controller, and its a solid built controller. I have many Bitfenix products and can vouch for their great build quality.

It has a touchscreen, custom profiles and just for a gimmick, control via mobile devices

how do you think the software is? does it need work or is it pretty straightforward?

I've not personally used the recon, I have a hydra. I've just got my opinion from reviews I've read and my previous experience with other Bitfenix products
