Buying Refurbished GPU?

Hey guys, 

 

I've been browsing eBay and i've found a few refurbished RTX 2060s for a decent price.

 

Has anyone had any good experiences buying refurbished GPUs?

Of course.  there have been bad ones too though.  It’s not unlike buying a used car.  Several of the same considerations are in order.

“Was it used for mining?”(was it a fleet car?)

“was it overclocked?” (Racing)

“Why are you getting rid of it?” (Same)

many other questions as well.

I have.

Replacing thermal paste and cleaning should be expected though.

Possibly ask for a benchmark result to validate stability and clock speeds and what not.

Also ask to make sure the fans + leds work.
