new rig after years

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  games pretty much, some office work /remote desktop and some (light) video Editing

Other details : aiming to 1440p and longevity

my videocard died some days ago (gtx770, 7years of service, rip....) and i thought it's time to change my pc.
I had thought of something that would give me longevity without spending too much, and i'd like to have some opinion / advice:

CPU: amd ryzen 5 5600x ~320€

MOBO: something like the asus tuf 550b plus, ~150€

RAM: corsair vengeance 16gb 3200mhz ~80€

VIDEO: nvidia 3080 FE ~720€

sabrent rocket 500gb pcie 4.0 120€

PSU modular 650w 120-150€

monitor: LG 27GL850 ~ 600€

 

i can salvage the other disks and the cooling from my old pc, and maybe the PSU (650w) and the case (the glorious  HAF932) too.

 

just some questions:

 

for the ram, it's better 3200mhz or 3600mhz? Does it make sense to invest in 32gb instead 16gb thinking about the future?

for the monitor, i've seen the 27GL83A at 400€, would I notice any significant differences?

do you have any other advice for me?

i wouldn't keep using the old gpu, if it's as old the gpu (7years). i'd get a new one. 750W might be more advised if you go for the 3080.

everything else sounds like a good plan. I'd go for 3600C16 ram since ram is quite cheap nowadays. if you decide for 32gb, get 2x16gb, not 4x8gb
