My GPU died in the middle of my game the only way for me it to show display again is if I restart my pc, but it still works, it just loses power in the middle of when I am using it, when I pulled it out, I noticed that some of the gold contacts on the the small part of the Card is fading, I tried using an eraser for it, but it only removed the dark marks around it, is there any way for me to fix this?

Can you give us a picture of the gold contacts that were fading?

 

It will also be useful to know what your system specs are. Specifically PSU and GPU.
