Help with new cpu

I replaced my i5 9600k with a i7 9700k i have a z370 prime. Whenever i start to boot up windows it either freezes with the windows logo, says preparing automatic repair and freezes or i get a blue screen that says no acessible boot device. I have already changed back to the i5 and my pc works. The bios is up to date.
