power line wifi adapter kit?

Go to solution Solved by Alfie_Assassin,

You plug the Ethernet from your router into one box (sender box?). That then sends the Ethernet over your houses power line. The other box (receiving box) in the set picks it up from your plug socket, where you can have WiFi or more Ethernet ports. Its slower than if you just had a Ethernet cable directly attached, but more easier to install and use, and allows for more WiFi access points or more range.

Hope this helps.

careful, I had one of those for a long time, and when it died, my ping in every game went from 75-85 to 45-55, I don't know if that is the case for everyone, but that is what happened for me (our house has the most ridicules wiring in the world, consider one of those wouldn't even work in one of our rooms, and one breaker would tern off 3 outlets in the kitchen, 2 in the living room, and 5 downstairs, and it is a mess so it is very possible that it is just because of our pathetic home wiring)
