I've been having a problem with my Windows 8.1 PC for a while now.

Sometimes when I shutdown my computer, this dialog opens up for a few seconds

It doesn't cause any harm but I always get irritated when I see it. I did seen same problem posted in Microsoft's Community Forum, but the solution posted there (Registry editing) didn't work for me.

This is what is posted by a Microsoft

Hi,

Please disable the DLNA Shell Extension to prevent for a test.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions]

Under Shell Extensions, create a new Key named Blocked. In the right pane, create a String value named {289AF617-1CC3-42A6-926C-E6A863F0E3BA}

Nope, nothing else. Although I do have hackintosh installed in another HDD, but I don't think its related

I think it can be some kind of bug in the install of windows that might go away if you install an update. other than that if it doesn't bug you too much then don't care about it. If it drives you crazy and absolutely need to fix it then the sure fix would be a clean re install.
