DisplayPort not working

I have two monitors and I just got a DisplayPort cable and when I plug it in to my monitor there is no output on DisplayPort but the other monitor works fine. I have tried the unplug and plug back in technique and it doesn’t work I also have the latest drivers. Any help is appreciated.

Might need a new cable, had an issue with a hdmi cable causing instability with an android TV but working fine with a PC.

Kogan 144hz monitor (Overclocked to 165) Ryzen 3 3100, RX 580 Gigabyte Windforce (1450 mhz) 2 x 8GB CL15 DDR4 3133 (Overclocked from 2400) Phanteks P300 white (RGB set to purple), Zarrius Deskpad (I have the yellow one), Razer Deathadder Essential, CK62 wireless (don’t use it wireless)

Is display port specified for hotplug?

 

I dont have another cable. I can return this cable and get another, I will check back when I get it
