Bio's upgrading help

Hello,

I am currently trying update a computer (ryzen 1700, asrock x370 (basic sli version), 4 gigs ram) and was wondering if I should update the bio's (currently version 1.0 updated last in 09/10/2015 according cpu-z) to the current version (6.0)? The bio update would also be followed with a ram replacement to 2x 8gig sticks. I am still uneasy about updating bio's for a computer that is working without issues but figured it would be worth considering. If anyone has any advice or what bio versions people recommend for the system that would be most welcomed
