Disk check on boot

Pc has had trouble coming out of sleep more and sometimes when I wake it or restart I get this

My c drive is a Samsung 850 evo from 2016

 

is this a sign of a failing drive?

That happens from blue screens. 

Let the system check the drives and correct errors if needed. Then it'll stop bugging you.

I have let it a few times now

It's probably an operating system issue. 

But you can use the software from Samsung to check your drive for issues just in case.

 

Are you overclocking? Ram on XMP?

PBO on 3700x, FCLOCK 1800

Ram is at xmp 3600cl16

These settings may be effecting how the PC sleeps and wakes up. 

Try turning on/off C-states and disable power down mode in the timings menu and see if that helps.
