Black screen/plain coloured screen GPU issue

So it was a month back when i was playing GTA V and suddenly my screen got blacked out and my monitor was in power save mode all fans and all were running but it still showed black screen after 2-3 days the issue persisted and in addition to that when it wasn't going black the screen used to show some plain colors like green yellow but i could hear song that were playing before it was done. This issue was after 1 month i got my GPU from RMA . Now i changed the thermal paste of the GPU and tried the issue is still there. I have tried another gpu (g210 from my friend) it was running smoothly. last but not the least i had done a clean install of drivers and all to check if it was driver issue but no!! please suggest a fix
