can you wait for the 3080 to be more available or the 3070 to come out and be more available. and ryzen 4000 is coming out in a few weeks.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

the 3080 will probably be more available by the end of october. if you could get mobo, ram, psu, case, cooler, ect before, then get a 5700x (aparently next gen ryzen in 5000) and a 3080 when you can get one.

I could use some help with this!

I would do a build like this

Like I said, next gen Ryzen announces on the 8th, so I would replace the 3700x with the 5700x (yeah, they seem to be skipping 4000

I chose a tri-fan rad, should be plenty, even if you want to oc the CPU.

Great mobo, in almost all of my suggested builds

32gb of ddr4 3600 cl16. Sweet spot for ryzen, with enough for editing.

3tb of storage, 1tb of ssd for the OS and games, projects for are editing, and other programs, and 2tb of hdd for mass storage.

tuf 3080, most people think its the best deal, since it scores 1-2% better than the FE for the same price.

The best case period.

One of the best PSUs you can get. you could do the 850w for about $15 more.

I could use some help with this!

Alright so far this is the best build that has been recommended to me so i'll probably go with this one  but i cant find the the price for the ryzen 5700x i'm assuming they'll announce it on the 8th? Do you maybe know how much it normally costs?

the 5000 cpus are not announced, but we have confirmation that it will be a 8c/16t, and will be a 5000 cpu. It will probably have a price on the 8th. it would probably cost about 330$ launch.

Not really. I already have one monitor so I was just gonna buy one more and either spend a little more or hope that I can get most of the parts on sale including mouse and keyboard

Well i mean technically i upped my budget to like 2100 and I did some hypothetical sales and if everything was at the least 10% and my total was 2100 then the price would only be around 1800

I know the 5000 cpus just got announced but from what we know SO FAR do you think the ryzen 7 5800x is better than the ryzen 9 3900x?
