Hi guys, I have a client which we manage their macs via MDM. I pushed down a VPN client update (PaloAlto Global Protect) verison 5.0.6 to 5.1.5 Tuesday evening. On Wednesday several Macs are not able to login after rebooting. When inputting the password it will look like its loading, go to a black screen and go back to the login screen. Below is the troubleshooting I have conducted. I have gone through and do know that not all macs are affected. 

 

Current Troubleshooting Mac: iMac 5k late 2015, macOS 10.12.6

Affected macOS's: 10.12.6, 10.15.6

Troubleshooting:

-Removed the VPN client via MDM terminal

-Reset NVRAM & SMC

-Logged into single user mode, issue affects all accounts still

-Disabled all launch services

-Disabled FileVault

 

There is quite a few more troubleshooting I did but cannot remember them all for now as I sadly couldn't document along the way. I've loo
