6-pin to 6-pin ATX adapter problem

Hitch11

Hello, I've recently bought a 6-pin to 6-pin ATX adapter, however, I have noticed something. The lower middle pin of the PSU cable and one on the adapter are different. Regardless, the cable can go in. But I'm afraid to turn on the PC. Is it supposed to be that way or something is indeed wrong? Thanks in advance.

What's that "adapter" for? Link to it? What do you intend to do with it, just use it as an extension?

It's more like an extension cable, I can't close the case if I plug the cables directly into the GPU.

It's actually this one:

Not like the one in the first post, but it has the same connectors.

Exactly, just as an extension, but the problem is the one square pin on the female port.

UPDATE: Just plugged it in and it works fine. Thanks for the answer anyway. So, it is official that one different pin on the 6-pin to 6-pin adapter doesn't actually matter.
