New Monitor/TV

Hello, I will be changing tv/monitor for my pc soon which has a xeon e3 1231 and a 2060 super. Now i think im already bottlenecking the VGA with that old processor, but do you think that going 144hz will make things worse? And what about 1440p ?

Your processor isn't going to be able to keep up with your graphics. You'd probably be able to increase your resolution, since increases in resolution doesn't tax the CPU nearly as much as the GPU. However, you're probably already hitting frame time limitations because of your CPU; the frame time is (for all intents and purposes) the time that it takes the CPU to interpret what the GPU is telling it, and poor frametimes can result in a choppy or stuttery mess. Instead of getting a new monitor, you should probably focus your money on getting a new motherboard, CPU, and RAM; you're going to see a much greater performance improvement.

yeah i would like to upgrade, but the thing is that here in my country, by the end of the year TV Signal will be only on something called  DVB T2 so my tv/monitor wont be able to function as a tv anymore. So i was thinking of a new normal tv as a monitor or just get something specific for gaming.
