I'm wondering if this software uses the cuda cores from GTX Titan because mine doesn't seem to use them compared to the GTX 580 I had before.

too my knowledge all Adobe and Autodesk software utilise CUDA

you have to edit a text file on the instalation folder of premiere, just add the name of the video card and should work.

 

The file is "cuda_supported_cards.txt" (i think)

Thanks, but I did that already and I don't see GPU activity when I render videos.

Did you edit the file right? It`s case sensitive.

It must be written like on nVidia site.

something like "GeForce GTX Titan" and not GEFORCE gtx titan"

check the "cuda cards" section in nvidia site for the right way to spell it

Mercury engine was enable when I used "GeForce GTX TITAN" in the txt file but when I render a video GPU Tweak doesn't report "GPU usage" and I'm pretty sure it did right because I did it with my GTX 580 also. Although I have to say that rendering seems to be pretty fast! (so it must be working)
