Proper Charging Etiquette?

Hey guys, I was wondering how one should go about charging their laptop computers? especially if its being used all day long for online classes and coding (12 - 15 hours)

is it a good idea to:
- Keep it plugged into the wall?

- Fill it up to 100% and wait for it to go down to 20- 25% charge before charging it again?

- maintain a level of charge between 50% - 90%?

Charging doesn't have silly rules like people once thought years ago.

I keep it plugged in 24/7 unless I'm using it because like @Dedayog said, modern batteries are not nearly as sensitive to being charged to 100% all the time or whatever.

 

 

And even if it was bad, it is super easy to swap the battery in my X260.

I don't think it really matters. Just keep it plugged if you can or when you need it to. I don't think it'll hurt keeping it plugged in overnight because it can take a way a few days of its entire lifespan.

 

I mean, you're not going to have this laptop forever. You're studying computer science. You're going to get paid a lot one day and not even worry about this kind of stuff.
