Razer Blade Charger Substitute

Hello! I found a great deal on a Razer Blade 15 (2018), but it doesn't come with a charger. I searched for suitable chargers, but found out that Razer, for some reason, uses a different connector. It sort of looks like a type C connector, but it isn't.

Is there any adapters, that convert regular barrel jack into that one? Normal ones are way cheaper than specific chargers, so I would be really glad if there is that kind of connector.

Well, unfortunately power brick with such huge power (and proprietary connectors, since Type-C won't deliver 230W of power anyway), and especially high-end brand like Razer, is gonna be hard to find except on their store. Even it's out of stock on their store lol

And I wouldn't risk getting cheap, especially shady, power brick with that huge power. For real.

I suggest you just find other brand if you wanna avoid spend overpriced products anyway.

Humor me, as you should do.

@dhannemon13 I really hate when big brands use their specific connectors, to force us to buy more products from them, but this laptop is just too good for 400$.

I found this charger on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-KABCON-Gaming-Charger-Adavanced/dp/B087F4J9T6/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=200+watt+laptop+razer+charger&qid=1600099353&s=electronics&sr=1-5

Should I just get this?

Can't really blame them, it's indeed how a company survive anyway, and Type-C PD still on 100W max unfortunately.

I saw on the link, and I'm actually confused. Is it 230W on one of the picture or 200W on it's name lol

This one is albeit more expensive, but I'd be more comfortable with that because it's showing consistent value between pic and description, and more ratings.

Better more (at least the charger have some room to breathe, and more power on the brick doesn't mean the laptop will use it anyway) than less than the specs I think.

Humor me, as you should do.
