My "A" Key stopped responding

So i've been playing valorant lately and i was in a 1v3 situation when i tried to peak an enemy and the key stopped working , i kept pressing it until it finally worked but it kept cutting off sometimes , sometimes it responds sometimes it doesn't and it's really frustrating playing without it so now m stuck with an old keyboard on which u can only click 2 keys simultaneously , how can i fix it ( it's a mechanical keyboard)

Which brand and model? Did you spill anything into the keyboard? Take the keys off and clean them.

it's a Spirit of Gamers XK500 , i didn't spill anything on it i was just playing , i already considered taking off the keys and cleaned the and also cleaned all around the key switches but nothing changed

Hmm. I've never seen that brand. I am used to known brands only for keyboards. The switch is probably losing connection or just dying.

then i should just replace it with a new one ?

or maybe consider deep cleaning in

If the keys are removeable just replace that key. And in the meantime swap it with another you don't need.

it's not about the key itself it's about the switch i guess , i switched keys and it's the same problem

I meant the key switch of course, not the cap. Many mechanical keyboards can have the switches removed and replaced, don't know if yours does.
