Hard Drive recovery

Hi guys, so i had an old Full external hard drive and when i plugged it in it says that the System File is RAW so i had to do "Quick Format" to change it to NTFS. Then i did a recovery using EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard. At first it scan the hard drive and it took around 2 hours to complete, then when i did the recovery action, it recovered some files (jpg and pdf) but i cant access any of them and i dont know what is the problem. Please help.
